A 22-year-old Eastman, Georgia man was uninjured when his dump truck overturned on Interstate 10 on March 17.
According to Florida Highway Patrol the dump truck was traveling eastbound on Interstate 10 when the truck had a tire failure. The driver lost control of the vehicle and began to rotate counterclockwise and then overturned onto its right side. Upon the rollover, the load of concrete was ejected onto the roadway. The vehicle came to final rest on its right side in the roadway facing west.
Holmes County Sheriff’s Office and Ponce de Leon Fire-Rescue and Florida Department of Transportation assisted FHP at the scene.
