By GARETT VALCOURTHOLMES COUNTY, Fla. – A 13-year-old from Alabama was pronounced dead following an ATV crash on Tuesday evening in Holmes County. The Florida Highway Patrol reported that the incident occurred at approximately 7:35 p.m.
The minor was traveling eastbound on Ma Hodges Road and attempted to make a right turn onto Chestnut Road. During the maneuver, the ATV veered off the roadway, resulting in a collision with a dirt embankment. The vehicle subsequently overturned and came to rest upside down in the east ditch of Chestnut Road.
