The Holmes County High School varsity boys golf team has qualified for the Florida 1A Public School Championship. This tournament attracts teams from across the state, all competing for the inaugural title.
Holmes County is currently ranked number four, making it one of the eight teams to qualify for this event. The tournament is designed for the top eight traditional public school boys golf teams and the top six individual boys who do not belong to those teams, all competing in the Class 1A category throughout Florida.
The team will travel to Lake City to compete on October 25. The Holmes County Advertiser will be following this story and provide updates as more information is provided.
