Bethlehem High School in Bonifay, Florida, celebrated a particularly memorable Homecoming this year, as the Bethlehem Wildcats hosted the Sneads Pirates for an intense basketball matchup. Amid the electrifying atmosphere, the night became even more extraordinary when a standout moment paused the game in the third quarter.
Junior athlete Kolton Amerson achieved a remarkable milestone by scoring his 1,000th career point. As Amerson fought his way to the basket and sank the historic shot, the crowd erupted into applause, rising to their feet for a standing ovation. The gymnasium buzzed with pride and admiration, commemorating this significant achievement.
In recognition of Amerson’s feat, Head Coach Aaron Mollett presented him with an honorary basketball marking the 1,000-point milestone. The Wildcats team joined their celebrated player for a series of photographs, capturing the joy and unity of the moment.
