Holmes County Chamber of Commerce prepares for food truck competition

Community members can enjoy varying dinner options on Friday, August 16 at Pepper Town Market. Holmes County Chamber of Commerce is partnering with PeoplesSouth Bank to offer menus from food trucks, business vendors, entertainment, and free inflatable play. The event will begin at 5 p.m. and end at 8 p.m.

A canned food drive will be held at Food Truck Throw-down as well. “Peoples South Bank is excited to sponsor this event for the Chamber of Commerce. We have incorporated our food drive event happening at the bank on August 30, a tailgate party to tackle hunger. The food will be donated to a local charity, so it’s a win-win for everyone!” said lending specialist, Donna Hoffman.

“I am hopeful that this event becomes annual for the Holmes County community. Additional event sponsors include Southern Lights and Jump Street Inflatables as well as entertainment by Taylor Maples.” said Chamber of Commerce president, Randy Torrance.

Pepper Town Market is located at 101 E Montana Avenue in Bonifay.
