Westville Head Start collects winter coats for in-need children

The Head Start Center in Westville is organizing a coat drive for children in need and is asking community members to donate.

Family Coordinator Megan Lindsey and Stephanie Ray Combee, specifically, are spearheading gathering collections before the weather gets cold.

‘Many families are dealing with financial struggles with the economy the way that it is,’ Combee said.

The coats will directly go to the children at Head Start, which assists in-need families.  

Donations can be dropped off at the Westville Head Start location at 2499 Cypress Street or Weather King in Bonifay at 3325 Highway 90. 

‘No child should have to be cold if they don’t have to,’ Combee said.
