A new LED sign coming to Ponce de Leon Town Hall is expected to keep residents informed about news and updates in the community.
The sign is expected to be installed on Monday, Feb. 19, according to Assistant Town Clerk Tyler Nixon, who briefly discussed the matter during a Town Council meeting on Thursday, Feb. 15.
“Everyone in the community will be able to see the bright lights,” Councilmember George Robertson said.
The LED sign will relay information about boil water notices and appearances by Santa during the Christmas season, the Town of Ponce de Leon announced on its Facebook page back in October 2023.
The LED sign was initially expected to be installed earlier but the truck bringing the sign has had issues with delivery, Nixon said.
An old brick sign at Town Hill was demolished to make way for the LED sign.

“Our plan is to workshop over there at the cafe,” Goering said. “We’ll operate a nutrition club there that has proteins, pre-workouts, post-workouts.”
Physical events incorporating physical therapy and nutritional guidance will also be held at 850 Nutrition.
