Bonifay City Council reappoints James W. Sellers as vice-mayor

With unanimous support, the Bonifay City Council reappointed James W. Sellers as vice-mayor during an April 1 meeting. The City Council members voiced their confidence in Vice Mayor Sellers’ continued effectiveness in serving the community through the role.

James W. Sellers, a longstanding resident of Bonifay since 1972, has a deep-rooted history in the city. A graduate of Holmes County High School, Sellers has also dedicated himself to serving his country in the National Guard following high school. 

Sellers’ experience in public service is extensive, having held a seat on the Bonifay City Council for multiple terms. His tenure includes serving from 1996 to 2004 and from 2007 to 2009, representing seat two.
