The day before the Holmes County High School Lady Blue Devils softball team played for the state title, their classmates, teachers, and community members cheered them on.
The school held a sendoff celebration on Thursday, May 23, waving signs and cheering as the bus carrying the players passed in front of Holmes County High and Bonifay K-8 School before hopping on the interstate.
Players also took pictures and received well wishes before boarding the bus.
