Holmes County Property Appraiser Bryan Bell has made history by becoming the first known property appraiser to run unopposed. With no opposition, Bell is now set to serve in the role for a third term.
Bell began his career with the Property Appraiser’s office in 2017 and has since served two consecutive terms. His reelection marks the beginning of his ninth year in office, something he says is a testament to his enduring commitment to the residents of Holmes County.
“It has been a great pleasure to serve the citizens of Holmes County, and I hope to continue to do so,” said Bell. “You are always welcome to stop by our office anytime. My office is always open, and we always answer the phone. Our main goal is to make your visit an enjoyable experience.”
Bell also reassured the public about the efficiency and readiness of his office, noting that it now boasts a fully cross-trained crew in all positions to better serve the community’s needs.
In addition to Bell’s unopposed reelection, four other Constitutional offices saw incumbents running unopposed: Sheriff John Tate, Clerk of Court Sam Bailey, and Supervisor of Elections Rusty Williams will also remain in office for another term.
