Traffic Stop Leads to Trafficking Charges in Holmes County

On July 12, 2024, a routine traffic stop by a deputy from the Holmes County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) on Highway 2 led to significant drug-related arrests. The deputy stopped a blue Dodge pickup for traffic violations and identified the driver as Brandon Quick, who was found to be operating the vehicle with a suspended license.

During the stop, deputies noticed narcotics in plain view, which led to a thorough search of the vehicle. The search resulted in the discovery of a bag containing 18 grams of methamphetamine. Consequently, both the driver and the passenger, Danielle Hutchinson, were arrested at the scene.

Brandon Quick faces multiple charges, including trafficking in methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and driving with a suspended license. Danielle Hutchinson was also charged with trafficking in methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and violation of state probation.
