Deputies from the Holmes County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) arrested Michael Corbett on felony warrants at a residence on Arrant Road.
According to the HCSO, while being transported to the county jail, Corbett reported experiencing difficulty breathing and stated that he had ingested fentanyl and methamphetamine prior to his arrest. In response, the transporting deputy stopped the vehicle, contacted emergency medical services (EMS), and administered Narcan to counteract a potential overdose.
EMS personnel arrived on the scene and transported Corbett to Doctors Memorial Hospital, where he was medically evaluated and cleared. Corbett was then booked into the Holmes County Jail.
