Two arrested and one warrant issued for burglary on Marian 

Holmes County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) deputies responded to a burglary on Marian Drive in the Dogwood Lakes community, May 7. According to the Holmes County Investigator, the vistime gave a description of the suspects and the getaway vehicle which aided him in starting his investigation. A few days later, the victim positively identified Carrie Martin of Fountain, Florida, as the thief. According to the Sheriff’s Office, Martin had allegedly stolen several firearms and other items from the home and volunteered to bring the stolen guns back to the Sheriff’s Office. The HCSO identified the guns as having the serial numbers ground off. As per HCSO, Martin showed up with an accomplice, identified as Jonathan Pizzuto. After they were questioned they both allegedly admitted to the burglary and implicated a third suspect, Christopher Wayne Hunter, for his part in the burglary. The sheriff’s office searched the suspect’s vehicle in their parking lot and discovered oxycodone, and a search of Martin at the jail revealed 3 grams of meth hidden on her person.
