Stolen four-wheeler recovered with help from Walton County deputies

A man identified by investigators as Christopher Allen Kirk is seen on a property in Holmes County prior to the reported theft of a four-wheeler. Authorities are seeking Kirk in connection with the incident.

A stolen four-wheeler reported missing from Curry Ferry Road was recovered before a Holmes County deputy could even arrive to take the report, thanks to prompt coordination between the Holmes and Walton County Sheriff’s Offices.

This Honda Foreman four-wheeler, reported stolen from Curry Ferry Road in Holmes County, was located abandoned just across the county line in Walton County. Investigators quickly confirmed the vehicle’s identity and recovered it with assistance from Walton County deputies.
 

According to a release from the Holmes County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO), investigators were notified by Walton County deputies of an abandoned four-wheeler located just across the county line. After further examination, authorities confirmed the vehicle matched the one recently reported stolen out of Holmes County.

The suspect has been identified as Christopher Allen Kirk. Investigators are currently pursuing an arrest warrant for grand theft in connection with the case.
