HOLMES COUNTY – A recent surge of COVID-19 in the public and certain county employees led County Administrator David Corbin to the decision to close the office of Holmes County Road and Bridge Department.
The office will be closed from August 11-16 when a reevaluation will be completed. Corbin says Road and Bridge will continue to work even with the office closed. “We have several yards throughout the county, but the main office is closed,” said Corbin. “Due to Health Department protocols for quarantining, the decision was made to close the office.”
