It’s time for Holmes County High School’s (HCHS) Project Graduation Haunted House experience. This year, it’s the “Carn-Evil of Screams.”
Project Graduation was first organized in Maine in 1980 in response to alcohol-related traffic fatalities involving graduating seniors and to raise awareness on the dangers of driving under the influence of alcohol and drugs. The event resulted in dramatic reductions of these accidents. Due to its proven success, Project Graduation gained national attention, and has since spread across the U.S.
HCHS Project GraduationÂ’s major fundraiser is the haunted house. The remaining dates for the haunted house are Oct. 6, Oct. 15, Oct. 22, Oct. 27, Oct. 28, Oct. 29 and Oct. 31. The doors open at 7 p.m. and last tickets will be sold at 10 p.m.
The haunted house is set up at 1169 U.S. 90 in Bonifay. Admission is $15 per person, and only cash is accepted. All proceeds go to support HCHS Project Graduation.
