WESTVILLE – A Jacksonville man is charged with multiple drug charges after a traffic stop yields trafficking amounts of amphetamine.
On Nov. 15 Holmes County Sheriff’s Office Communications Center received a call-in reference to a grey Honda minivan driving recklessly westbound on Highway 90. HCSO was able to intercept the vehicle around Westville and conduct a stop after seeing a traffic infraction. The driver was identified as Kyle Hatcher, of Jacksonville.
As the deputy spoke with Hatcher, K-9 Lasso was deployed and alerted to the presence of narcotics in the vehicle. Upon a search of the vehicle, a trafficking amount of amphetamine pills, Xanax, marijuana and drug paraphernalia were found.
Hatcher is being charged with reckless driving, possession of Xanax, trafficking in amphetamine, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
