Bonifay Fire-Rescue answered the call from the Holmes County Communications Center on Sunday, January 30, at 9:12 p.m. in reference to a fire at Rich’s Coin Laundry. Esto Volunteer Fire Department was requested to respond and answered the call as well.
BFR arrived on scene at 9:15 p.m. and found heavy smoke billowing from the building. Engine One crew members were able to enter the building and quickly extinguish the flames within minutes. In doing so, the fire was contained to a single dryer.
Holmes County EMS and Bonifay Police Department also responded to the scene for assistance.
