BREAKING NEWS: Second arrest in one week for former private school Principal

Aaron Michael McFatter, a 28-year-old former Principal at Grace Fellowship Christian Academy (GFCA), has been arrested on charges of use of electronic device to entice a minor following an investigation into allegations of inappropriate conduct with a juvenile.

The Holmes County Sheriffs Office booked Mcfatter at 4:05 am on Tuesday August 6. Mcfatter was then released after posting bond of $5,000. The Holmes County Advertiser will release further information as the details emerge.

This comes following his arrest by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office (WCSO) on 31 July after receiving a report implicating McFatter of enagaging in sexual misconduct with a minor while serving as the principal of GFCA in Holmes County at the time of the alleged incidents.

Current School Principal for the 2024-2025 academic year, Ryan George made the following statement:

“Grace Fellowship Christian Academy (GFCA) is aware of the arrest of former employee Aaron McFatter. We consider the safety of our staff and students of utmost importance. GFCA is registered with the Volunteer & Employee Criminal History System (VECHS) at the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) to obtain the required criminal background screenings for employees and contracted personnel. All school employees are considered mandatory reporters for abuse, assault, neglect, drug and alcohol incidents, etc. We report allegations immediately to the appropriate authorities any time we are made aware of them. Any further questions about this investigation should be directed to the Washington County Sheriff’s department.”
