On September 17, investigators from the Holmes County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) executed a search warrant at a residence in Esto as part of an ongoing child sex investigation.
Joseph Babb II was located at the scene and arrested on two outstanding warrants.
During the search, investigators discovered methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia inside the residence. Electronic devices were also seized for further investigation.
While at the location, investigators obtained additional information leading to probable cause for a second search warrant for a camper located on the property. Upon executing the warrant, a shotgun hidden behind a wall was found, and Jason Babb was arrested.
