DMH Foundation donates 12 new walkers to support patient care

The Doctors Memorial Hospital Foundation recently donated 12 brand-new walkers to Doctors Memorial Hospital, providing a boost to patient safety, mobility, and recovery. The Foundation, a nonprofit 501(c)(3) governed by a five‑member volunteer board, raises funds throughout the year to support equipment purchases and new services at the hospital. Its mission is to strengthen healthcare in Holmes County and surrounding areas by ensuring that every contribution directly benefits local patients and families. Foundation members say the walkers reflect their ongoing commitment to meeting community needs and supporting the hospital’s ability to deliver quality care close to home.
