Deputy Frank Turberville and K‑9 Kimber of the Holmes County Sheriff’s Office recently visited the children and staff at Canopy Behavioral Solutions, spending time with students and answering questions about law enforcement and K‑9 operations. The visit gave the kids a chance to meet one of HCSO’s four‑legged partners while learning how deputies and their K‑9s work together to keep the community safe. Deputies say outreach events like these help build positive relationships and foster trust between law enforcement and local youth. K‑9 Kimber is pictured above interacting with a child and staff member during the visit. [CONTRIBUTED]
