A juvenile led authorities on a high-speed pursuit in a stolen vehicle that ended with a crash on Interstate 10.

According to Holmes County Sheriff’s Office, deputies received a report around 3:45 Friday afternoon that a vehicle had been stolen out of Ponce de Leon. A deputy in the area encountered the vehicle and saw reckless driving. When the deputy attempted to initiate a traffic stop, the suspect refused to stop and proceeded to get on the onramp for I-10. The driver continued recklessly across the westbound lanes of the interstate reaching speeds topping 100 mph.
