Hudson Park reopens with upgrades

Members of the Bonifay community gathered Monday, June 3, to recognize and celebrate the reopening of Hudson Park. 

Hudson Park has an updated look and new informational signs at Hudson Park, funded by United Way’s Born Learning Trail Program. 

Officials in Bonifay and surrounding communities recently gathered at Hudson Park to spotlight the park’s new amenities, which include new walking trail signs. [KINSLEY COOK | The Advertiser]

The Florida Department of Health purchased the program from United Way so Bonifay residents can enjoy the amenities. The Bonifay Public Works Department helped install the signs.

Mayor Larry Cook and City Executive Assistant Sierra Smith made remarks about the future of Bonifay parks and how the Bonifay Police Department will continue to prioritize eliminating park vandalism and destruction.
