A Holmes County Sheriff’s Office deputy initiated a traffic stop for attaching a tag not assigned on the intersection of Highway 79 and Highway 160 on March 26.

The driver was identified as Althea Scott who told HCSO she did not have a valid driver’s license. Scott also had an outstanding warrant out of Santa Rosa County.

The vehicle’s passenger was identified as Heather Nastasi and was in possession of suboxone strips that were not prescribed to her.

Scott is charged with driving while license suspended or revoked and the outstanding warrant. Nastasi is charged with possession of a controlled substance.
