On October 1, deputies with the Holmes County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle due to an expired tag. The driver, identified as Shawn Holloway, was found to have a suspended driver’s license upon further investigation.
As Holloway exited the vehicle, deputies discovered a blue pill in the seat where he had been sitting, which was later identified as fentanyl. A subsequent search of the vehicle uncovered a plastic bag containing trafficking amounts of methamphetamine in the center console.
Shawn Holloway was arrested and is facing charges of trafficking in methamphetamine, possession of fentanyl, and driving with a suspended license.
