‘See the able, not the label’

The 2022 Holmes District Olympics were held Thursday, April 28, at the Bonifay Recreational Center.
The event is in its seventh year of games with each school in Holmes County being heavily represented this year. Holmes District Olympics Spokesperson Brandi Jordan says the event wouldn’t be possible without community support. “We are blessed to have the continued support of Sheriff John Tate and the Holmes County Sheriff’s Office, Holmes County Board of County Commissioners, West Florida Electric, Bonifay Fire Rescue, Bonifay Police Department, City of Bonifay, and of course the Holmes County School Board and Superintendent Buddy Brown,” said Jordan. “Without them and our outstanding volunteers, teachers and amazing athletes, this would not be possible.”
