Chris Lauen, Holmes County 4-H Agent, received multiple Florida 4-H Communicator awards at the Extension Professionals Association of Florida Conference last week in Daytona Beach. Chris was recognized with the Published Photo Award and the Social Media Package/Campaign Award (by an individual). His Published Photo award submission was selected as the Southern Region winner and earned “top four” status within the National Association of Extension 4-H Youth Development Professionals. Furthermore, his Social Media award submission was chosen as the Southern Region winner and also earned him his first national award from the Association of Extension 4-H Youth Development Professionals. Chris has been invited to Boise, Idaho in October 2024 to attend the National 4-H Conference where he will be presented with his two Southern Region Awards and his National Award.
