Bonifay Fire Rescue received a $5,000 donation from Emerald Coast Hospice during the department’s annual pancake breakfast Saturday, Oct. 3, providing additional funding for equipment, training and other resources used by local firefighters.
The contribution was presented during the annual community event, with Bonifay Fire Rescue thanking Emerald Coast Hospice for its continued support and what department officials described as a valued partnership.
“A donation of this size makes a real difference for a small department like ours and helps us continue investing in the equipment, training, and resources our firefighters need to serve our community,” Bonifay Fire Rescue stated.
Department officials said the contribution represents more than financial assistance, pointing to the continued relationship between Emerald Coast Hospice and local first responders.
“Thank you, Emerald Coast Hospice, for believing in our mission, supporting our firefighters, and investing back into the community we are all proud to serve,” the department stated.
The donation was made during Bonifay Fire Rescue’s annual pancake breakfast, held Saturday, October 3. The event provides an opportunity for residents to gather with local firefighters while showing support for the department and its role in the community.
Bonifay Fire Rescue expressed its appreciation to Emerald Coast Hospice for continuing to support the department and the firefighters who serve the Bonifay area.
“We appreciate your continued friendship and support more than you know,” the department stated.
