Patriotic Celebration set for July 4th


BONIFAY – The Holmes County Ministerial Association is set to hold the 17th annual Panhandle Patriotic Celebration Sunday, July 4. The event returns after being canceled last year due to the COVID Pandemic.  

The celebration will be back in full swing at the Bonifay Recreational Center with free food and entertainment. 

Gates will open to public at 6 p.m., followed by the welcome and presentation of the nationÂ’s colors at 6:10 p.m.

Entertainment and food will be served from 6:15 p.m. to 8:20 p.m. with the big screen patriotic presentation beginning at 8:30 p.m., followed by fireworks at 9 p.m.

It is recommended that guests bring a lawn chair.
