Florida Highway Patrol reports the death of a Milton man Wednesday morning as the result of a crash that took place near mile marker 112 on Interstate 10 in Holmes County.
According to law enforcement reports, a 35-year-old Milton man was driving a motorcycle in the inside eastbound lane when he traveled onto the inside shoulder and the motorcycle began to overturn, ejecting the driver.
Troopers did not state whether the driver was wearing a helmet.
FHP was assisted on the scene by Bonifay Police Department, Bonifay Fire-Rescue, Holmes County EMS and Holmes County Sheriff’s Office.
