Things that make you go, mmm: HCSO delivers Thanksgiving boxes

The Bonifay First United Methodist Church, in partnership with the Holmes County SheriffÂ’s Office, packaged 45 Thanksgiving dinner boxes for delivery to families identified by school administration.

School Resource Officers hand-delivered boxes to those families. Boxes included a turkey and all the accompanying sides and a pie.

Janie Curry accepted the donation with a big smile and shaky voice,”Y’all don’t know how thankful I am. Thank you so much.”

Lt. Adrienne Odum, Deputy Frank Turbeville, Deputy Caleb Segers, Deputy Russell McNeal, Deputy Lynn Lee, Deputy Calvin Sherrouse, Deputy Bryan Johnson, Emergency Management Director Adrienne Owen and Assistant Emergency Management Director Barbara Sellers made the deliveries to their students with wishes of a safe and happy holiday.
