The Panama City Florida Highway Patrol, Bureau of Criminal Investigations and Intelligence (BCII) is investigating an apparent suicide of a male subject. According to the BCII, this occurred at the Ponce De Leon Rest Area in the picnic area, he was located inside of his camper June 1. The BCII reported having no suspicions of foul play at this time and feel the community is safe. This is an ongoing investigation.
