Deputies with the Holmes County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at a residence located on Highway 171 in connection to alleged distribution of illegal narcotics on May 6. According to the HCSO this marks the second search warrant executed at the same location within the past six months.
According to HCSO, upon arrival, deputies made contact with Jeffery Smith, who was located and detained without incident. Entry was then made by deputies into the residence, where contact was established with Phillip Pippin, who was then taken into custody.
A search of the residence resulted in the discovery of methamphetamine and various drug paraphernalia. A subsequent search of Pippin’s vehicle led to the recovery of additional methamphetamine, more drug paraphernalia, and Suboxone found in his wallet.
Jeffery Smith is being charged with tracking in methamphetamine, sale of methamphetamine, and maintaining a drug house. Pippin is being charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of Suboxone, and possession of marijuana.
