Serving as a councilman is a full time responsibility and requires a great deal of effort. Over the years I have responded to many concerns that citizens have presented. One of my mentors, Joe Middlebrooks, advised me that we should always address each issue as if it were our issue. I have and will continue to act in this manner. There is not anything that belongs to the city council; all of our possessions belong to the people and citizens we serve.
I am opposed to any unjustified and unfair tax that may confront the city council. There should always be a discussion on what expenses can be reduced before raising revenue at the citizens’ expense.
I look forward, if elected, to continuing the Corridor Project that was instituted nine years ago. I was a representative of the City in the beginning and would like to see the success of that project in the future.
I would like to ask you to vote for me for the Bonifay City Council Seat 3. The election is March 28, 2023 and everyone votes at City Hall. Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Early voting is available on March 24, 2023 and March 27, 2023. These hours are 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Thank you.
