A traffic stop by the Holmes County Sheriff’s Office ended with a Panama City man being arrested on drug charges.
On May 9, a HCSO deputy conducted a traffic stop on Highway 81 in Ponce de Leon and made contact with the driver, James Ingram of Panama City.
During the stop, K9 Highway conducted a free air sniff of the vehicle, giving a positive alert for the presence of illegal narcotics. A probable cause search of the vehicle produced two baggies of methamphetamine, two glass pipes, a set of scales, a THC tablet (with no valid medical marijuana card), and additional drug paraphernalia.
Ingram is charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of marijuana without a prescription.
