DMH celebrates National Hospital Week

[NATALIE HOLTON | The Advertiser] FBLA Advisors from clubs in Holmes County were presented with a donation from a local business by President Randy Torrance and Executive Director Donna Meldon.

BONIFAY ÂÂ– It was a rockinÂ’ good time at Doctors Memorial Hospital last week as administrators and staff celebrated National Hospital Week with a Â“Through the DecadesÂ” themed week-long event. Activities kicked off Monday with a 60Â’s Woodstock Festival, continuing on through each decade until the 90Â’s.

Staff participated in karaoke and competed for various decade-related titles, including Â“Best HairÂ” for the 80Â’s. DMH Advertising Marketing Director Shanta Brannon said the celebration was good medicine.

Â“After the last year dealing with COVID, this was very much needed,Â” said Brannon. Â“We still had work to do, but we managed to take a few minutes to just relax and enjoy one another. It was well deserved.”
