DMH celebrates National Hospital Week

BONIFAY – It was a rockin’ good time at Doctors Memorial Hospital last week as administrators and staff celebrated National Hospital Week with a “Through the Decades” themed week-long event. Activities kicked off Monday with a 60’s Woodstock Festival, continuing on through each decade until the 90’s.

Staff participated in karaoke and competed for various decade-related titles, including “Best Hair” for the 80’s. DMH Advertising Marketing Director Shanta Brannon said the celebration was good medicine.

“After the last year dealing with COVID, this was very much needed,” said Brannon. “We still had work to do, but we managed to take a few minutes to just relax and enjoy one another. It was well deserved.”
