Bonifay Police seeks information in ATM burglary


BONIFAY – The Community South Credit Union ATM was burglarized last night in Bonifay. 

According
to the Bonifay Police Department, the burglary was done with the use of
a stolen truck from a mechanicÂ’s shop in Chipley and was abandoned at
the scene.
The same method was also used last month at a bank in Mobile, Alabama.

Police Chief Chris Wells says an investigation is underway.

“There is a task force that works these types of crimes,” said Wells. “We are working with them in this investigation. The truck has been processed and we are gathering evidence.”
