While patrolling on Christmas day, a Holmes County Sheriff’s Office deputy conducted a traffic stop of a vehicle with no tag on Foxworth Road.
The deputy was performing a check of the driver, identified as Chastity Lee, and the vehicle information while K-9 Highway was conducting a free air sniff of the vehicle.
Highway alerted to the presence of narcotics.
As the deputy spoke with Lee, he saw a black bag sticking out from under her arm. According to HCSO, the bag contained approximately 20 grams of methamphetamine and a glass pipe.
Lee was arrested and charged with trafficking in methamphetamine.
