Traffic stop leads to meth arrest

A traffic stop on Highway 81 led to the arrest of one for possession of methamphetamine.

A Holmes County Sheriff’s Office deputy conducted a traffic stop for a traffic violation on January 14. During the stop, K-9 Lasso conducted a free air sniff of the vehicle and gave a positive alert for the presence of narcotics.

The passenger, Shannon Justice told HCSO deputies that she had a meth pipe in her purse. A search of her purse revealed a pipe along with two clear baggies containing methamphetamine.

Justice is charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
