Holmes County Public Waste and Clean Earth will host Amnesty Day to collect household-quantity hazardous waste from 8 a.m. until noon, Saturday, February 26.
For one day only, Holmes County residents are allowed to dispose of items such as pesticides, appliances, used oil, and batteries at the Holmes County Recycling Center.
The event is open to Holmes County residents only and attendees are asked to bring proof of residency.
The Holmes County Recycling Center is located at 3165 Thomas Drive, in Bonifay.
