A Holmes County Sheriff’s Office deputy was patrolling the Prosperity area on March 21 and found a vehicle pulled off the side of Highway 81.
The driver, a white female, was laying over the center console of the vehicle sleeping. The deputy was able to wake her up and identify her as Symphony Kowalcyzk.
As the deputy spoke with Kowalcyzk, K-9 Lasso conducted a free air sniff of the vehicle and alerted to the presence of narcotics. HCSO then conducted a search of the vehicle and located a small white and blue container on the driver’s side floorboard containing a small clear bag of methamphetamine.
Kowalcyzk is charged with possession of methamphetamine.
