Bonifay Fire-Rescue is set to host its 20th Annual Christmas Celebration, “Santa in the Square,” on Friday, December 6 at Eureka Square in Downtown Bonifay. The family-friendly event, a staple of the holiday season, will offer free activities and entertainment for residents and visitors alike.
Festivities will begin at 5:00 PM with the opening of vendor booths, where attendees can shop for holiday gifts and enjoy the community atmosphere. Complimentary hot dogs and hot chocolate will be available throughout the evening.
The highlight of the celebration will occur at 6:00 PM when Santa Claus makes his grand entrance. Children and families will have the chance to meet Santa and share their holiday wishes.
Local organization Waukesha Way, a recurring supporter of the event, expressed enthusiasm for participating in this milestone year. Waukesha Way President Emily McCann noted, “Waukesha Way is grateful to Bonifay Fire-Rescue for inviting us to support this wonderful community event again this year. It’s always a joy to see the commitment of our City and its departments to its citizen and visitors. We’re honored to join BFD in marking their 20th year of this tremendous tradition.”
Santa in the Square is free and open to the public. For more information, contact Bonifay Fire-Rescue or visit their social media pages.
