Bradley Garrett, a senior at Holmes County High School, officially committed to Northwest Florida State College on December 2 to continue his baseball career. “My goals are to grow and develop my skills during my two years at Northwest Florida and eventually make it to the Major Leagues,” Garrett shared.

During the spring 2024 season at HCHS, Garrett pitched 65 innings and recorded 118 strikeouts ranking him #91 in the nation. Additionally, he finished the season with a 0.32 earned run average (ERA), ranking 85th nationally. Reflecting on his high school experience, he said, “Holmes County has played a huge role in my athletic success. Coach Jeromy Powell and the rest of the team took me in last year with open arms and treated me like family.”

Garrett is eager to join Northwest Florida’s baseball program and is particularly excited about the coaching staff’s techniques and structure under Head Coach Doug Martin. “Northwest has been my dream school since I was a kid, so getting the opportunity to play there is a dream come true,” stated Garrett.
