The Holmes County High School Music/Drama Department will present their Christmas production “An HCHS Christmas: A Time for Joy” on Thursday, Dec. 14, and Friday, Dec. 15, beginning at 6:30 p.m. at the Holmes County High School auditorium (105 Blue Devil Drive in Bonifay).
Doors will open approximately 45 minutes before each performance.
The evening will be full of Christmas joy with many traditional Christmas songs, updated arrangements of some favorite classics, and new songs that will become favorites.
Songs will include “We Need a Little Christmas,” “Like It’s Christmas,” “Can You Hear the Angels,” “A Jolly Jingle Christmas Medley,” “A Cartoon Christmas Medley,” “Run Rudolph Run,” “Winter Wonderland,” and many more. The evening will also spotlight soloists with songs such as “Do You Hear What I Hear,” “Please Come Home for Christmas,” “What a Wonderful World,” “Blue Christmas,” and more.
Tickets are $5 and will be available at the door only.
The Holmes Council on Aging has partnered with the HCHS Drama Department to collect Christmas donations for the senior citizens of Holmes County.
Everyone attending the production is encouraged to bring a gift for an elderly person. Suggestions are socks, slippers, lip balm, pajamas, gloves, blankets, candy, popcorn tins, etc. A huge stocking will be available at the door for all donations.
