Local Independence Day celebrations in Holmes County

Multiple local organizations plan to celebrate the upcoming holiday with festivals and firework shows in the upcoming week. 

Esto Fire Department is hosting a 4th of July family friendly celebration including a firework show on Thursday, July 4. The event will also include snowcones and refreshments starting at 7:30 pm. Everyone is invited to come and see the show, which will begin at 9 pm. The fireworks will be launched from John Clark Park in Esto. 

The annual Independence Day Firework Celebration will be held on July 7, at the Bonifay Rec Center. This event is held by Holmes County Development Council in partnership with Bonifay Fire-Rescue and is to the public. The fireworks will be launched starting at 9pm, parking to view the show will be in the grass lot behind Memorial Field.

Vortex Springs in Ponce De Leon will be holding a celebration July 5 and 6. The firework show will begin at 9 pm each night with entertainment being announced soon.
