A 40 year old Bonifay woman died Sunday morning following a single vehicle crash in Holmes County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred shortly before 7 a.m. on County Road 177A near Flowing Well Road. Troopers reported the woman was traveling south on CR 177A when, for reasons that remain unknown, the vehicle left the roadway.
The vehicle then overturned and struck a tree.
The driver was pronounced deceased as a result of injuries sustained in the crash.
The Florida Highway Patrol continues to investigate the incident.
