A Ponce De Leon woman was charged with multiple counts of child neglect and aggravated battery after a shooting on New Year’s Day.
Walton County Sheriff’s Office said in a press release that deputies responded to Reddick Road in Ponce de Leon just after 7 p.m. regarding a shooting in which the victim suffered a gunshot wound to the upper left arm.
