High-speed motorcycle pursuit leads to arrest of wanted felon

A traffic stop attempt by the Holmes County Sheriff’s Office on May 30, resulted in a high-speed pursuit and the arrest of a suspect wanted on felony charges.

According to an official release from the sheriff’s office, a deputy attempted to stop a motorcycle traveling on Highway 2 in the New Hope area. The driver failed to comply, initiating a pursuit that continued eastbound on Highway 2. Authorities reported that speeds exceeded 120 miles per hour during the chase.

The pursuit concluded near the intersection of Highway 179, where the motorcycle came to a stop and the driver was taken into custody without incident.

The suspect was identified as Devin Little, who was found to have active warrants out of Walton County for grand theft. In addition to the existing charges, Little now faces new charges in Holmes County, including fleeing and attempting to elude law enforcement and reckless driving.
