Mitchell for Bonifay City Council Seat 4

I am Shirley Mitchell, and I am seeking election for City Council Seat 4.

I am a life-long resident of Holmes County, and I opened a business in the city of Bonifay in 1976. I ran this successful business for more than 14 years. I also attended Chipola College, and this gave me the opportunity to become the city clerk for the City of Bonifay. I served as the city clerk of Bonifay for 18 years and would like to serve my city again as a council member.

During my time as city clerk, I became certified as a municipal clerk in the State of Florida. This helped me to understand the building blocks of a city and how to help a city grow. I worked closely with a grant writer and hope to be able to use this experience to help our city get more grants.

I love the City of Bonifay and know that it has so much to offer. I want to help make it even better, and I want to use my knowledge I gained as a former city clerk to do just that. As a city council member, I will use my experience to help our city grow and prosper.

I would really appreciate your vote on March 28 for City Council Seat 4.
